1. Respect everyone, including the moderators.
2. Don't flame anyone...it only serves to make you seem childish.
3. If someone is harassing you, calmly and politely ask them to stop. If they persist, contact the staff.
4. You can have a character of any animal you thing would be around in this time. I plan to have a dog pack later on, so dogs would be welcome. Just don't make your character invincible...everyone needs to have some flaws.
5. No canon characters, please. Meaning, don't try to make a character from the books. The main reason I do this is because we aren't the authors of the books...we aren't going to get all the characters actions right. If you truly want a character like in the books, use their personality, if that's what you like about the character, in a different body...or, if you like their coloration, use that but change the personality.
6. Cursing is allowed in the roleplays, but don't curse every other word...be creative people.
7. Killing is allowed, but as long as both parties are consensual on the matter. Killing of NPCs is allowed as long as your character isn't on a "killing spree" and acting totally unrealistically.
8. Signatures don't have to be a certain size, but I reserve the right to ask you to tone it down if I think yours is too big. This is mainly out of courtesy to people who use slower connection speeds.
9. I'd like to keep this a fairly advanced roleplay. All roleplays have to consist of two good sized paragraphs. I won't say anything if I've either seen longer paragraphs in the thread by you, or you're usually pretty good at keeping your roleplay replies to two paragraphs. Longer is always better though.
10. NO GODMODING. I will say something if I see it. Godmoding is bad...don't do it.
11. Use spell check please. It's on the forum so you aren't constantly misspelling words. If you think you're doing pretty well, then it isn't a big deal, but if you know you have a spelling problem...please use it.
12. I would prefer you not to use photographs for your character's appearance...mainly because it's more difficult to find out the copy write information for photographs. If you took the picture or have the permission of the person who took the picture, then fine, use it, but I would prefer either a colored template, or a hand drawn picture.
13. DON'T STEAL ART. If you do, I'll find out. I will have people who will check such things. If you have the artist's permission to use a certain piece, then great...but if you don't...just don't use it. There are templates on the forum for people to color in if they don't have any artistic skills. There are also people who will draw for you from time to time. If you can't color a template, ask someone else. Just don't steal...please.
